Lest We Forget

Have we forgotten our love of amphibians here at Toads and Robots?   No we have not.  Within an hour of arriving at Ellenville Isabella had adopted two tree frogs.  This morning a wood frog joined the family.  After enjoying their company we will release them back out into the wild.

Spring Fair

Our school had its annual spring fair fundraiser Saturday.   We helped with the snow cone stand, which I suspect was the most popular item there.  Afterwards Jonathan became airborne, as you can see.

Milestone

The kids' first visit to St. Marks Comics.  We got about two dozen comics in the $1 sale.  And brought home a Bender keychain.

Japan Society

We went to the Japan Society yesterday. It was soooooo cool! It had a lot of pictures of warriors and a funny squid picture:

They were made by a artist named Utagawa Kuniyoshi, in the 1820’s to the 1850’s.

The Tim Burton exhibit

We went to the Tim Burton exhibit at MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) on 2/4/10. I loved his Gothic art combined with his comic text. Here are some pictures:
