Japan Society

We went to the Japan Society yesterday. It was soooooo cool! It had a lot of pictures of warriors and a funny squid picture:

They were made by a artist named Utagawa Kuniyoshi, in the 1820’s to the 1850’s.

The Tim Burton exhibit

We went to the Tim Burton exhibit at MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) on 2/4/10. I loved his Gothic art combined with his comic text. Here are some pictures:

Here are some animated smileys that I found. aren't they awesome!? They're from a website called FreeSmileys.org. I found it when I was surfing the web when I had nothing to do. I tried to pick the most guinea pig-like animals for the little animals at the bottom of the page.

I made these pictures in the art studio software that my grandma gave me on my birthday. The effect I used to make little bursts in my artwork is the rays setting. I also used the symetrical setting in the first panting. In the second painting, the little figures are stamps.
